after the egg
rolled off the table,
we could come back
tomorrow
and find
a white feather,
the stir

Speaking her mind with comments meant to puzzle the listener! Had she not listened well to the Master when He boldly stated, in three days I will rise again? Perhaps she was also not quite awake on that glad morning?
Or she was wishing the angels had left a feather from their wings. (If angels do have wings?) I understand, and then I receive comments on my poetry that prove to me that the reader did not catch what the poem was actually about!
