I Am, Blue
See, God, this is who I am...

Did you know, there is a theory that the sky used to be pink, before the Flood, before God wished He hadn't made man? I wonder if blue is the color for redemption, the perfect backdrop for His promises...
and all that is written and felt in each word is ok...i am orange this day~
I know you weren't speaking to me in that poem, but I responded.
I wonder if I am a mood ring, ranging from deep happy blue to mellow brown.
When I read of a friend's blue sorrow, I shift a little in that direction, feeling it bleed into my palette, blending in and forming something different, something blended as lives overlap like oils swirling on the canvas.
This is part of life in this world, life in the Body of Christ, as we move toward unity, we feel and take on to some extent the colors of others.
